How to Make an Artist Trading Card with a Glass Effect - Dream

The effect I was going for in this project was creating a glass effect on the artist trading card. Learning how to make an ATC with a glass look can be done a few ways. A layer of translucent material, gloss varnish and the method I used using DecoArt Liquid Glass and all I can say is OMG did it turn out beautiful.

Using the Liquid Glass, it goes on opaque and dries to a crystal clear finish. It does take a bit of time to dry though.

The other method which would have taken longer is using Triple Thick gloss varnish.

Ready to try this this? Here is what you'll need and don't be afraid to substitute your own stamps, paper and substrates.
