LONGEST ELK FIGHT ON YOUTUBE?! (..and who wins?)

This video was shot in 2015 in the Cataloochee Valley, Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

Camera: Nikon D5100 with 55-300mm (Nikon) lens Definitely a once in a lifetime battle caught on film. Took place on the last day of a week long trip, just before a large storm cell moved in for the weekend. Had to clear trees from the road in order to leave the park just a few hours later, calm before the storm.

Beautiful valley to visit with local historic buildings and other wildlife such as turkeys and bears. Be prepared for delays in the fall colors season, plenty of additional tourism and traffic too. This valley was an exception, an oasis off the beaten path. Hope you enjoyed the video!
