Bob and Sandy, the owners of this log lodge in the hills of Massachusetts have asked Elvie and the crew to clean and brighten the exterior logs and apply stain and caulk.

The cleaning product from Timber Pro Coatings called Clean and Brite did a great job of lightening the 3- 1/2 year old log home which varied from only a little gray in areas to some places that were quite darkened like the porch deck and railings.

After soaking with Clean and Brite, all the exterior was heavily power washed to give it a thorough clean and to get the surface as light a color as possible. Next, 2 coats of Timber Pro Exterior UV Finish with the Pinewood pigment added were sprayed and back brushed onto the entire exterior.

The third and final coat was the Timber Pro Exterior UV clear with no coloring added, applied as a heavy flood coat. The result is stunning and a very durable protection provided.

The last part of the project was Phillip and Matthew applying Conceal Chink as a caulk to every exterior seam as an extra water and weather barrier.
