Sadly, frontman Nick Marsh died on June 5, 2015, after battling cancer of the throat and mouth.

Over the past 24 years, I have collaborated on and off with the band, shooting stills for them, and more recently, video, at first for Nick's solo work, and then for the reformed band. Although I'd never consider myself a close friend, I always enjoyed hanging out with the band, and with Nick when we met up to shoot sequence's for 'A Universe Between Us' in 2010 / 11. Like many others, I'm going to miss him - more than I might have imagined.

The band was great, and had moderate success in the 80's, but not always the recognition they deserved. And so it was with Nick's brilliant solo album, produced by his wife Katharine Blake, and as far as I know, recorded for the most part in their home on a shoestring budget. It has an epic sound, and picked up some great reviews, but sadly without the promotion of a record company, it remains a hidden gem, treasured by those of us in the know.

He was a talented artist who produced some great work over the past thirty or so years, yet was very humble about it, always grateful for the praise he received.
