Hey everyone welcome back to my channel! Today we’re going to be revisiting a topic I’ve made a video on before, a little over a year ago actually! If you were around for it you might remember “the male poetry community is even worse than gabbie hanna” and how much of a doozy we found out the male poetry community was, to say the least, and I honestly thought that would be the last of it in terms of making videos about it. But some of you guys might know that I’ve been exploring reddit these past few weeks and I came across a subreddit that really inspired me to revisit the topic. This time though instead of focusing just on male poetry, we’re looking at male writing in general.

The subreddit in question is called r/menwritingwomen and there is no shortage of pretty wild stuff on there both from decades ago as well as more recently... like im talking about stuff that makes wattpad look like a walk in the park. As you would imagine, how the subreddit works is people submit photos of the wildest examples of men trying to write about women in books. Some are tame while others are just straight-up concerning so I thought.. why don’t we look at it for a video? (Beyond watching this though I’d definitely recommend checking the forum out for yourself because some of the stuff on there is insane lol)

Hopefully it goes without saying but (this is the internet so a disclaimers coming at you regardless lol), of course not all men write about women like the examples shown in the video, we’re just having some fun with some very extremely bad examples of men writing about women!
