10 Players Who Proved Us WRONG! (Part 2)

On this week’s 10, we’re looking at ten more players who have surprised us with excellent campaigns this season. Our list includes transfers we expected to flop, like Juventus’ Weston McKennie and Barcelona’s Pedri, but also some stars rediscovering form, like Arsenal’s Lacazette and Luke Shaw at Man United. There are veterans finishing their careers strongly, like Real Madrid star Luka Modric and West Ham’s Angelo Ogbonna, and we also give some well-deserved credit to Rodri, who has recovered from a disappointing season to anchor Man City’s surge towards the title, and Mason Mount, widely written off after Chelsea signed Havertz and Werner, but now the first name on the team sheet for Thomas Tuchel and England ahead of the Euros.
