10 Wonderkids Football Daily WROTE OFF!

Hello and welcome back to Euro Football Daily where today we are looking at 10 former wonderkids we wrote off.

From expensive prospects like Joao Felix and Renato Sanches to academy graduates like Patrick Bamford and Mason Mount, plenty of youngsters have suffered as a result of too much pressure and high expectations, and many clubs on our list - like Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Man City - simply didn’t have the patience to allow promising footballers to develop.

For some - like Tiemoue Bakayoko or Breel Embolo - the solution was a new manager, while others, like Patrick Bamford and Andre Silva, were able to find their feet again once out of the spotlight. Angelino and Theo Hernandez, meanwhile, were able to use their disappointments under Pep Guardiola and Zidane to reinvent themselves as two of the best-attacking full-backs in Europe - and teach us a lesson about judging players too quickly.
