Viking Series: “Yule Mead”

This is a spiced Metheglin Mead, using homemade mulling spices, that (after fermentation) should taste like the Christmas holidays.

Ingredients:
3 pounds + 4 ounces of wildflower honey
1 gallon of water
Zest of 1 orange
Zest of 1/2 lemon
30-raisins (I added off camera)
1- cinnamon stick
10- juniper berries (dried & crushed)
3- cloves
1/4- teaspoon nutmeg
1/2- teaspoon of ground all-spice
