Viking Series: Viking’s Blood

A Cherry Mead, made predominantly in the 1700’s in memorial of the Vikings. It gets its name from the fact that it is a mead, and the color, along with Cherry bits, looks like blood.

Ingredients:

3 lbs. honey
1.5 lbs of dark sweet (cobbler) cherries
1 cup black tea
30 raisins (added off camera) *I forgot*
1/2 sachet of lalvin K1V-1116 yeast
