Heavy Lake Effect Snow/ Thundersnow! Lake County, Ohio (10-31-23)

 On October 31, 2023 a decent lake effect snow event was setting up across northeast Ohio.  with Lake Erie waters still in the upper 50s and very cold air aloft conducted a mix of heavy precipitation. Also, there was a chance for thundersnow with the heaviest bands of snow along the Lake shore. However, that evening, I did not expect to witness thunder snow at all, but that changed very quickly .
