Ashtabula / Trumbull County, Ohio Severe Thunderstorms ( 7-20-23 )

On July 20, 2023 the Storm Prediction Center place all of northern Ohio in an Enhanced risk for severe weather, main hazards to be large hail and damaging winds along with very heavy rainfall and frequent lightning and perhaps a brief spin up tornado. The day started out sunny with the atmosphere baking most of the day when storms developed in Michigan and propagated southeast across Lake Erie into Ohio! Out ahead of the line a supercell form in northern Trumbull county and had brief rotation before being engulfed by the Strong line of storms! This chase was a crazy one and a lot of fun too.
