David Bowie & Queen "Under Pressure" "All the Young Dudes" "Heroes" (Homenaje a Freddie Mercury)

Un recuerdo al gran David Bowie, que este año nos dejo, recordando su impresionante actuación en el concierto homenaje a Freddie, celebrado en el Wembley Stadium el 20 de Abril de 1992. Bowie interpretó 3 supertemazos, siendo el primero el mítico "Under Pressure (canción que compuso con Queen en 1981, que llegaría al nº1 en el Reino Unido), junto a Annie Lennox. El segundo tema fue "All the Young Dudes", una maravilla que Bowie compuso para el grupo "Mott the Hopple", con cuyos componentes Mick Ronson e Ian Hunter interpretaría esta maravilla de canción.

Creo que esta es mi actuación favorita del evento. Todavía me pone los pelos de punta al recordarla... El 3er tema sería el mítico "Heroes", uno de los grandes clásicos de "El Duque Blanco". Posteriormente, y para el asombro de todo el mundo, Bowie se arrodillaba rezando un padre nuestro en memoria de Freddie Mercury y todos los que fallecieron a causa del SIDA...

La grabación es del 25 de Abril de 1992; fecha en que tve2 emitió el tributo a Freddie. La 2 lo repuso el 26 de Diciembre del mismo año, por haber sido uno de los eventos mas importantes del 92. Fue en esas inolvidables Navidades, cuando lo pude ver en tv...

In the memory of David Bowie, who have left us this year, I will like to remember his marvellous performance at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concerted, helded the 20th of April in 1992 at Wembley Stadium. The White Thin Duke played 3 songs; the first was "Under Pressure" (the song he composed with Queen which toped the uk charts in 1981).

The second track was "All the Young Dudes", a song he composed in his beginnings for the band "Mott the Hopple", with Mick Ronson and Ian Hunter. Perhaps this was my fauvorite one of this big event.The 3rd song was his iconic "Heroes" and after that he recited the Lords Prayer in the memory of Freddie and all the people who died by Aids, surprising all the world...

This recording is from the spanish second channel, when the Tribute was aired, the 25th April of 1992.
