Easy and Moist Red Velvet Cake
This cake is moist and quick to bake ! You can make it two layers or one layer. The Cream cheese frosting is delicious.

INGREDIENTS : Cake
2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp backing soda
1/2 tsp backing powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup boiling water
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 cup granulated sugar
8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
4 tsp Red food colouring
1 tsp distilled white vinegar

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING :
8oz. Cream cheese, softened
16 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cup powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2-3 tbsp of heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS :
➡️Preheat oven to 325° F grease and place placement paper.
➡️ Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl and set a side.
➡️Boil water and remove from heat. Add cocoa powder and stir.
➡️Using a mixing bowl combine sugar, butter, oil and eggs and stir till combine. Add in buttermilk, vanilla extract and food colouring and mix together. Add in white vinegar and cocoa water, whisk together.
➡️Add 1/2 cup of flour at a time and whisk batter till flour is fully combined.
➡️Pour half batter in each prepared dish.Bake for 25-30 minutes. Mine baked exactly for 28 minutes. Cake will feel very soft.
➡️Beat softened cream cheese and softened butter together till smooth. Add in powder sugar, vanilla extract and heavy cream and beat till smooth.
