MiMa's cover of Booker T & the M'Gs - Green Onions

Here's my little cover of this historical song (it's the first Hammond song I play). I used my Nord Electro 3, together with my Roland JX-8P acting as the Hammond's lower manual, via MIDI. The flat, large and clean top of the JX-8P is convenient to accomodate an Electro 3 over it :-).

I wanted to differentiate a bit the sounds from the original recording, where apparently no Leslie speaker was used. I also added the percussion effect to the lead melody sound on the upper manual and set a bit of distortion on the Leslie simulation, to get a fuller sound. The Leslie's speed it's being switched by pedal.
