ARC Multimedia Theater, Daegu South Korea ©Asymptote Architecture 2012

The ARC Multimedia Theater designed by Asymptote Architecture , was completed in Daegu, South Korea in 2012. The building houses a contiguous 60m x 20m seamless projection surface installed in the configuration of a moebeus strip. The Pavilion was initially opened for the World EXPO 2012 in South Korea as one of the four rivers cultural pavilions and showcases the environmental Four River Restoration Project. The technology was configured and installed by Domeprojection and auto-aligned and calibrated precisely for the 34-channel projection system. This video shows test footage and sound-scapes implemented as full "surround imaging" on the seamless contiguous surface surrounding the interior of the shell construction and acting as the main exhibition hall within the ARC.
