The Butser Project - Building a Neolithic House (Webinar)
Wessex Archaeology has joined together with Butser Ancient Farm to offer expertise and help to design and build a new Stone Age house on the site. The new house is based on one excavated by Wessex Archaeology in Horton, Windsor.
In this webinar, Wessex Archaeology Project Manager, Gareth Chaffey, who discovered the Neolithic house at Horton in 2013 and led the excavations, and has been a lead figure in bringing about the partnership with Butser, offers an insight into the project - from excavation and conception to its current state of build.
