The Cucuteni-Trypillian late neolithic culture in Romania and Ukraine

In this video I will show you why Cucuteni-Trypillian was one of the most advanced Neolithic–Eneolithic archaeological culture in Eastern Europe. The Cucuteni-Trypillian culture is known by its distinctive settlements, architecture, intricately decorated pottery and anthropomorphic and zoomorphic figurines, which are preserved in archaeological remains. They had developed new techniques for ceramic production, housing building and agriculture, and producing woven textiles. Some researchers believe that the Cucuteni culture used the wheel with wagons. The first Romanian site was found by Teodor Burada in 1884 near the village of Cucuteni, while the first Ukrainean one was discovered by Vikentiy Khvoyka near Kiev.
