100 more Fairfax homes could be evacuated depending on where gas leak behind is found

Fire investigators in Fairfax County are working to determine what caused a house explosion that drew crews to a burning home in Centreville, Virginia

Washington Gas and Williams Pipeline Corporation, which are responsible for the natural gas lines in the area, are still searching for the source of the leak, according to a Fairfax County Fire and EMS spokesperson.

Currently, 46 homes are still evacuated, and 82 homes are without natural gas. Depending on which of the 5 lines are leaking, the evacuation radius could shrink, or expand to include 100 more homes.
