Blood Flow Restriction Training Arms Workout! (Is the HYPE REAL?)

Is blood flow restriction training the real deal or just hype? I decided to take you through a full blown blood flow restriction training arms workout and I'll let you know what I think. Truth is, you've got to try it out for yourself before passing any judgements. And this blood flow restriction training workout is the place to start.

One of the things I enjoy with any blood flow restriction workout is the ability to go with light weight for the same amount of muscle activation as if performing a heavy lift. For example. In this blood flow restriction training arms routine you see I'm only using 20%-30% of my one rep max to get an insane pump and massive growth hormone response straight to my arms. You can use this same blood flow restriction technique for leg training as well, but that will be for another video.

See bfr training, especially bfr training arms will save you from a whole lot of joint pain in your elbows and wrists. Why? Because you're lifting baby weight! And doing so with very high repetitions. While still getting amazing results. Which is why I especially recommend blood flow restriction training to guys with prior injuries or aches and pains in their joints.

Actually, occlusion training (another name for blood flow restriction) is used in many hospital settings to help patients recover from traumatic injury and build their strength back up. So as you can see, bfr training can be beneficial for lots of reasons.

With this occlusion training arms workout you'll notice I selected two exercise that are safe to perform. Hear what I'm saying. Do not perform blood flow restriction triceps workouts or blood flow restriction biceps workouts in a vaulnerable position. For example, I wouldn't perform bfr training on a close grip bench press or a skull crusher. Why? Because your arms will quickly fatigue with an blood flow restriction workout. And if your arms give out with the bar over your head, it could lead to injury. And that's the last thing I want for you.

So with that said be wise with your blood flow restriction biceps and blood flow restriction triceps exercises. If this is your first time I simply suggest following along with the blood flow restriction training arms workout in the video.

One last thing. Be sure to watch the instructions at the beginning of the video. There is a very specific way to do occlusion training. Also, there's a very specific and smart way to use the blood flow restriction bands. You don't want to be cutting off all blood supply in your arms. You'll see exactly what I mean in the blood flow restriction workout above.

With that said, get after it and God bless!
