How-to Keep Mice Out of an @RRBuildings Type Post Frame

I made the grade board/rat board structure on our DIY post frame the same as those made by @RRBuildings but I have never seen how they seal the ends of the rat boards against rats. I don't believe they have ever shown it. Calk should not be uses as mice will just chew right through that. We sealed up all of the gaps on other buildings with stainless steel wool in the form of scrubbing pads. I did a little search before starting this project, and ran across this product: Xcluder Rodent Control Fill.

The product works very well, and is easy to work with. I sealed all of the rat board gaps on our post frame in about two hours. The package comes with a pair of scissors (this coarse material is very hard on cutting tools), and a pair of durable but very small gloves.
