Metal Ceiling Install ― Last Details to Attend To 😐

In this video, I tend to the final details that needed to be attended to before installing the tin ceiling (steel panels actually), in my self-build post frame woodshop. All of these details are related to insulation, and need to be finalized before putting up the first sheet of tin. I tested different boards to see which configuration I will use later to blow-in the insulation once the ceiling is in place, I marked the back wall for the depth of the blown-in insulation in the areas that were not already marked, I insulated the top of the box-in over the garage door hardware, and finally, I trimmed the sidewall insulation to 6 1/4" to match the thickness of the batts that will be placed atop the ceiling panels as the ceiling is installed.

I describe in a fair amount of detail why the side insulation is trimmed like this, but will show it in detail in the next video when I actually install the insulation.
