Cycle Tour 2019 - La Route Verte - Day 1

Bienvenue! We're glad to have you along for the ride. This year's tour takes us up to Canada for an eight day ride through the province of Quebec on "La Route Verte". It is an amazing network of bike friendly roads and rail trails. Months could be spend exploring all of the routes, but alas we had but eight days. After a late start and some confusion speaking french at McDonalds, day one finds us riding up hill in the rain with the wind in our faces from Waterloo to Sherbrooke. The day did not go as planned, but that oft times happens when you are adventuring. Day One Numbers: 44.25 miles, 4:35 in the seat. Enjoy!
