Gurpreet’s horseback riding accident left her with a shattered L1 vertebrae and numbness on one side of her body. Doctors weren’t sure she’d ever walk again. But she already was a student of Dr Joe’s work – and threw herself into the meditations to help manage the pain.

During her healing journey, Gurpreet recognized “a lifetime of things” she needed to change. The critical voice in her head, for one. And stories of victimhood – hers and others’ – she had to overcome. She focused on feeling gratitude and surrendered to the process.
