How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at our 2,000 pound trailer jack from Bulldog. Now this guy right here is going to be a welded sidewind jack and we can take a closer look at it to see what it does for us. As far as our jack, in its retracted state, it's right here at 11 inches. In the highest setting it goes up to 21 and it gives you a 10 inch lift. As far as the space that you're gonna have between your mounting plate and the edge of the jacket is four inches and being sidewind, that's gonna work well if you have the clearance to go around. Now, in some cases, topwind may be a better suggestion and a lot of times you're replacing a jack that failed.

In this case, we have a topwind jack back over here and when we have our spare tire over here mounted in, it can get in the way of that cranking motion. I mean, even to the point where we kind of have a a knob that's halfway chopped off. Now this guy right here on the side is gonna allow you to crank this thing up without having any issues with how the crank can move freely. So that's just something to keep in mind. Most of the time with a jack like this, you're replacing something that you already have existing.

But if this is the first time you had a trailer, you know this is something that you may not know. This is a weld on, so you're gonna have your weld on bracket that's gonna be welded onto your trailer tongue and this is gonna be where your jack actually pivots. So when you have it in the upright position, you'll be able to switch it over and then reinstall your pin. Included with your jack is a foot plate. This guy right here is gonna give you a good contact with the ground, as well as your five eight diameter pin that's attached with the chain.

In my time here at etrailer.com, I've sold a lot of different products as far as trailer accessories and replacement parts and Bulldog is one of those brands that's always my go-to. They have solid products that are completely reliable and they have a solid reputation out in the industry. So, again, this is Ed with etrailer.com taking a look at Bulldog's 2,000 pound trailer jack with side wiring handle. Have a great day.
