E. Ohio/ W. Pennsylvania High Based Hailers (4-14-24)

On April 14, 2024, the storm prediction center had eastern Ohio and Pennsylvania under a slight to enhanced risk for severe weather. The main hazards that were to be damaging wins and large hail. However, there was an off chance of a brief tornado or two. The day started off capped and eventually by 4- 5 PM the cap eroded and storms blew up explosively. So I started my chase around Warren, Ohio, and quickly moved east towards the PA line and eventually into Pennsylvania along I-376 around Newcastle, Pa. These storms were a little tough to chase because how quickly they were moving. Did manage to get into a couple hail cores, so I hope y’all enjoy!
