KOH LIPE to LANGKAWI, Malaysia (border crossing by ferry) | Thailand Travel Vlog

Hey everyone! In this #travelvlog we show you what the border crossing by ferry from Koh Lipe, Thailand to Langkawi, Malaysia is like!

The entire process is fairly simple and easy. We purchased our ferry tickets a day or 2 in advance using a service called 12go.Asia (a transport website for Southeast Asia). The tickets cost $31.50 a person. Our resort had arranged for us to get a tricycle taxi to the passport control booth on Pattaya beach.

Once you are at Pattaya beach, you will wait in line to get stamped out of Thailand. Immigration officers will keep your passports until you are safe aboard the ferry and on your way to Langkawi before returning them.

After arriving at the pier in Langkawi you will pass through immigration and customs and officially get stamped into a Malaysia!
