I try my hand at taking a nice studio portrait of Jerry my dog. Using the Olympus OMD EM1 Mark II with a GODEX TT350o Flash shooting through a white umbrella. It's not as easy as you think. The hardest part is getting the model to sit still for 5 seconds. I was using the 45mm 1.8 Olympus lens and found that the depth of field is so narrow that only her eyes are in focus and her ears and nose/snout are blury. I had to go all the way to 4.0 and even then it wasn't enough. I reckon around 5.6 or above and turn up the flash power. Anyway have a laugh while you watch me fail chasing Jerry around my studio with Donkey in my hand.
