Chinese New Year Street Photography Parramatta 2024

The Chinese New Year is based around the moon (I think). The new moon was on Feb 10, so I went to Parramatta and did some street photography with the Olympus EM1 Mark II and the 12-40 f/2.8 Pro lens. It started raining heavy and luckily this setup from Olympus is one of the best waterproof camera combinations around.

On my way home taking cover from the rain at every street corner, I ended up taking my best shots of the night. Rain at night in the city is the best. You really can't go wrong. The glow and shine from the streets and lights just makes for great photography. It's almost cheating.

Two weeks later the Full moon festival was at Cabramatta which is the biggest asian suburb in the southern hemisphere. I took a lot of video and photos there. Ill show you next video. Thanks for watching
