Wood Carving the Little Italian

Carved from Basswood 1.5" x 1.5" x 4" Knife Only Carve.
This video is a bit longer so there are a few time lapse spots along the way. For those of you who don't know, you can change your settings to slow down time lapse to a slower pace. (in case I sped up the exact moment that you wanted normal speed!!) Just find "playback speed" in your settings and you can speed up or slow down the video you're watching.
I did try my hand with wood burning for the first time on this little caricature. You may be able to see signs around the arms and legs.
Make sure you stick around to the very end for better views of the carving painted. My outside shot was too dark.
