Single Operator Post Hole Auger - That Works!

I don’t know what your experience has been with post-hole augers, but I have a lasting memory of a two-person auger where – let’s just say that the auger was stronger and tougher than the two of us. And the auger ended the day unbruised. Quite unlike the humans.
That is why I ordered a tractor-mounted post hole auger – which like pretty much everything else I’m ordering these days seems to be in short supply. But, with post holes to dig, we decided to go the rental route and try out a portable auger once again.

There you have it - some context for my reaction when son Kyler said he was on his way with a one-person auger and I was going whaaaaaaat?
