Michael Murphy: A True American Hero

Michael Murphy was a Navy SEAL hero who showed incredible bravery during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan in 2005. His team was ambushed by over 100 Taliban fighters, and they were trapped. To save his team, Murphy stepped into the open under heavy fire to call for backup. Despite being shot multiple times, he stayed calm, completed the call, and kept fighting. Sadly, he and two teammates didn’t survive, but his actions saved Marcus Luttrell.
