E38 M62 oil pump bolt check and chain adjust procedure

I'm no expert. This is video of me checking the oil pump in my 1997 e38 740iL. This was done in October 2013.

Checking for loose oil pump mounting bolts/nuts and the chain tension. Both were loose.

Note: I approximate 10mm = 0.25 inch which is incorrect

10mm = 0.39 inch and the chain slack specification is 10mm +/-2mm (0.32" to 0.47")

Also, when removing your pan for this job, be sure to inspect the pan contents for timing chain guide debris. Additionally, carefully check the oil pump screen for any debris/blockage.
