How COBRA Act works | Benefit Administration

Learn how COBRA act protects employees and their dependents from loosing the group health insurance in the event of termination, reduction of work hours, divorce etc...

This videos captures all the key elements that define this act. An employee, upon a qualifying event that trigger COBRA, can continue their health coverage for upto 18 months. However, their dependents can continue the health coverage for upto 36 months if any such event occures that make them eligible for COBRA. These are known as primary events.
