How performance appraisal process work | Performance Management | HCM
Understand what is performance appraisal process and how it works. This module is part of Talent Management module in HCM or Human Capital Management. this process is essentially between employee and their manager where manager evaluates or assesses the performance of their direct reports on these criteria:

Personal Goals and Company Goals
Competencies
Job Responsibility
The process starts with when employee does self evaluation and then manager does the evaluation of employee's performance. After this there is a review meeting between employee and manager and after that the process if finalized.
The review ratings or Performance appraisal that are given to employees are then sent to Compensation Module where the salary increment is given based on rating matrix.
