The Legend of the Moose continues to grow, as Strongman Mitchell Hooper capped off one of the best single years in the sport's history by winning the 2023 Rogue Invitational in Round Rock, Texas. In familiar fashion, Hooper didn't need to win any of the five events outright, but instead simply made no mistakes all weekend, finishing second 3 times, third once, and fourth once. This produced a 42 point score that narrowly edged him past Tom Stoltman's 40. The victory completes a 2023 trifecta that already saw Hooper win the Arnold Strongman Classic and World's Strongest Man.
