Lost in Alaska.. Missing hiker Joe Clayton Disappeared on 8/21/21

Hello everyone, in today's video I'll be discussing the very recent disappearance of Joseph "Joe" Clayton who disappeared last Friday in Juneau, Alaska.

Joe is a white male, 48 years old, 6'2" tall and roughly 220lbs.

He went out for a day hike on the Perseverance Trail and hasn't been seen since 7:30 am Friday 8/21/21.

His car was found a few days later at the Auke Lake Boat launch area.

Joe is not from Alaska. He's from Oregon and he was not familiar with the area or trails. He was up there visiting his father who lives in Juneau.

This case is very recent so there wasn't a whole lot of information, however, I included everything I could find.

A silver alert has been issued and that hotline number is: 855-745-8799.
