Lost & Found in the North Cascades, Missing Hiker Andrew Devers Found

Hello everyone, in today's video I will be discussing the heart warming case of missing hiker Andrew Devers. Andrew went missing in the North Cascades on June 18, 2021.

Andrew is an inexperienced hiker who has just gone out for a day hike. He had a bottle of water with him and 2 cans of Mountain Dew.
nothing else!

After starting out on North Bend's Middle Fork trail, he became lost roughly 2 hours into his hike. For the next 9 days Andrew was wandering around the wilderness with nothing to eat but some berries.

There was a large SAR effort to try and locate him, however, after over a week of searching, they called off their search on June 24th.

Miraculously on the morning of day 9 on June 27, 2021 he was found by a woman who was running on the trail.

Andrew is a 25 year old salesman from Seattle.
