a brief look at some of the recent achievements in restoration, in particular the involvement of other community groups, and very much the individual stories of volunteers.
The finale is a snapshot of the four mile section of as yet unrestored canal which will rejoin this to the national network.

This film was premiered at a Cotswold Canals Trust fundraising event on 19th November 2018 to a "packed house" at Whitminster Village Hall, where the programme of films opened with a special screening of two waterway films generously provided by Huddersfield Film Makers.
Near the end of the film there is an image of Bristol Road lock (at 20.40), with the unusual siting (for the Stroudwater Navigation) of its ground paddles, and in the background is the former Ryde's bridge.
