Albanese 'can actually deal out' teals and Greens
The Australian's National Editor Dennis Shanahan says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese “can actually deal out” the teals and the Greens in the House of Representatives.
“He can actually ignore the teals … different issue in the Senate, where the Greens have done extremely well, there are no teals, and the Greens could very well have a balance of power in their own right,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
Mr Shanahan said the Prime Minister has got “guaranteed support from some of the existing independents".
“He made the point that he had already spoken with those existing independents … and so he has their vote,” he said.
