China Eastern Boeing 737 plane crashes in Guangxi province with 132 people on board

A China Eastern jet carrying 123 passengers and nine crew has crashed in southwest China. The Boeing 737 was en route from Kunming to Guangzhou. According to local media, the aircraft crashed in the rural countryside of Teng county in the Guangxi region. Data from a flight tracking website showed the plane began to descend sharply a little over an hour after take-off. Authorities said the crash sparked a mountain fire. Rescue teams have been dispatched.
