I've always had wavy/mildly curly hair but didn't realize that the products I've been using were slowly straightening my hair by coating my strands with sulfates and silicones. Time to get my hair back and follow the curly hair method steps. Fist I had to do a final co-wash using Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two, then follow up with regular conditioning "washes" using Emerge Smooth Mover Conditioner and finish off with a giant glob of Giovanni LA Hold Styling Gel that you "scrunch the crunch" when it's dry.
This method works so well and fixed my itchy scalp and dull hair problem easily. I'm definitely not going back to shampooing.
