Mother cat Maxine is a very strict mother. Look at her gently disciplining her 2.5 week old kittens (David, Declan and Rosalie) not to climb out of the kitten nest. A Ginger Tom attacked the kittens when just a few hours old and injured little Pat (who sadly died a few days later). Maxine was a stray feral I found by the side of the road, she was smaller than the kittens are now. I can't believe she survived. Loving our cats.
