Antique Hand Vise Restoration With Burl Handle!

We found this hand vise in an estate auction a few weeks back, even though this is an inexpensive tool it was one of my favorite finds at the auction. I used a piece of scrap from an Elm burl I had laying around for the handle and turned a brass ferrule on the lathe and applied some raw linseed oil and it turned out pretty nice! The jaws didn't align very good so I worked them over with a file and sandpaper. This tool should prevent some burned fingers from holding small parts at the buffer!
