Repair iPad iPad2 iPad3 with Broken Plug stuck inside Headphone Jack (no audio)

My granddaughter's iPad has lost the audio because a headphone plug has snapped off inside the socket. The piece that's stuck inside can't be pulled out with pliers or tweezers since the hole is too small. I searched here and on the web and tried the super glue and cut off antenna methods with no luck.

So I tried this and bingo! it worked !!
