This young man in the red shorts texted Mr. Coach Mercedes one day before asking to come and spar. He had told me he was a MMA fighter, along with a boxer for years and could kick any boxers ass in the gym. So Mr. Coach Mercedes invited him to the gym for a workout, he then warmed up and began challenging the young amateur boxers while hitting the heavy bag. Mr. Coach Mercedes was in the ring and overheard the challenges and bullying comments. Mr. Coach Mercedes asked him if he wanted to spar, so he said, “Of course coach, I’d love to spar with you.” You can see what happened for yourself. He got very humbled at the end.
