Aurora Borealis Timelapse ("Hustle Up Starlings" by Matthew Ryan)

Since we've got so much Northern Lights timelapse footage just sitting on our hard drives we thought we share some. Taken over the course of the last few years in Iceland, Alaska, and Canada.

The music is the title track from Matthew Ryan's latest album "Hustle Up Starlings". It's such a beautiful song and fitting for the Northern Lights that shimmer like the feathers of a starling.

The photography was captured by both me and my wife, Andi, over the last three years. The clips consist of KP1 to KP9 Aurora Storms with the most intense clips being from the St. Patrick's Day Storm of 2015 in which Aurora's reached KP9 levels for a long while as a CME struck Earth.
