Building with a Bond - A True Companionship

Through the years I along with many horse enthusiast have been guilty of expecting so much from our horses, yet most are wiling to give it regardless of self importance.
Taking a step back to just admire these fine animals for their forgiving traits and their easy willingness of acceptance to human interaction, one starts to remember how it was those things alone that drew us like flys to a light toward these amazing creatures that hold a since of inner peace and freedom we can all appreciate.

In this particular video, you can see how this mare has bonded with me as a willing friend and accepts me as someone she can follow and trust, while equally as important,actually enjoying it.
No treat bags where used to suggest her to follow me, just a couple days of interaction as a friendship that has nothing but positive reinforcement from start to finish with only a friendship as the intention.
"Body language" (which I will get into more in later videos) plays a large role in getting a horses respect and admiration in this way.

I hope this will inspire you next time you go out to work with your horses or you reach a frustrating moment of training, sometimes just a companionship without the work is all you need to get the most out of your horse and to remember what this thing is all about.
