Tony O' Reilly, or 'Tony 10', was a Post Office manager in Gorey and stole €1.75 million euro from the Post Office in which he was working in order to sustain his gambling addiction that had gotten completely out of control. Starting off with a one pound bet on a soccer match in 1998, it wasn't long before Tony was betting up to €40,000 on any one bet and that he had won and lost over €10 million euro through one Paddy Power account. He was caught and sentenced to 4 years in prison, and the addiction that had tormented him for years was finally over.
