Panasonic Lumix FZ80/82 Loose Dioptre Adjustment Dial Repair

Following a request for help with the FZ80/82 EVF viewing system I decide to look at the problem that affects very many FZ80/82 EVF dioptre adjustment dials in that they are so loose that adjustment is constantly needed unless you secure the dial with hot melt glue or adhesive tape.
