There are too many myths out there around raising a child bilingual. "Bilingual children fall behind" "Speaking two languages to a child may cause a speech or language disorder", "Learning two languages will confuse your child". The list goes on.

I am raising my toddler in Vietnam so he is learning both English and Vietnamese. But before moving here, I had so many people question my decision, even members of my family telling me that he will completely forget English.
